Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwich & Salad. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to ensure that our food service team is adequately staffed to meet customer demand.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to maintain our high standards of quality.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Lead and motivate our food service team to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our customer needs.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Provide ongoing training and coaching to our food service team to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation: Analyze our menu and customer demand to estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified food service staff to join our team.
  • Ensure that Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Monitor and maintain our high standards of quality and customer service to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns to ensure that we maintain our high standards of customer service.
  • Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Maintain accurate records of our stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports to management to ensure that we are meeting our goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession, restaurant.
