As a Wellness Engagement Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing member interaction and fitness achievements.

Your main responsibilities will include delivering personalized fitness consultations, recommending tailored training packages, and providing exceptional customer service to enrich our members' overall experience.

You will collaborate closely with members to identify their fitness aspirations, monitor their progress, and motivate them to reach their highest potential.

Our Wellness Engagement Specialists possess an in-depth knowledge of Altea Active's services and amenities, understanding the unique advantages they offer. They excel in communication, quickly establishing rapport and introducing both new and existing members to our diverse fitness offerings.

They conduct various biometric assessments to evaluate our members' fitness levels and suggest customized fitness and health programs.

Thriving in a sales-oriented environment, they are passionate about promoting health and wellness within the community.

As a team, they achieve business objectives, maintain high closing rates, meet sales goals, and effectively communicate the benefits of our services, including personal training.

Our facility is dedicated to supporting members in achieving their fitness objectives while enjoying premium amenities and personalized service.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Wellness Engagement Specialist to join our elite team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional health and wellness solutions.

As a competitor, you have a relentless drive to exceed sales targets and achieve annual goals.

Resilience is key; not every interaction will result in a sale, and the ability to recover from setbacks is essential for this role.


Technical Expertise:
You possess the technical skills necessary to perform initial fitness assessments, including body composition analysis, fitness evaluations, and goal setting.
You excel at transforming genuine relationships into a tailored fitness journey.

Exceptional Communication Skills:
You have outstanding customer service abilities and are an attentive listener and speaker, helping clients comprehend your recommendations. You are committed to achieving and surpassing your sales objectives.
A typical day as a Wellness Engagement Specialist may involve the following:

Conducting one-on-one fitness consultations (Road Map Sessions) to optimally onboard new members towards their fitness goals.

This includes recommending a range of services such as Personal Training, Studio Fitness Classes, Recovery services, and exclusive member privileges.

After a member invests in Personal Training, you will ensure they are matched with the most suitable trainer for their goals, facilitating a seamless transition.

If a member chooses not to invest in a new Personal Training Package after a Road Map Session, you will guide them to the next event in the New Member Experience, which may include a Personal Training Demo, Studio Fitness Classes, or other offerings.

Conducting member outreach as needed to fill your schedule with appointments during slower club traffic is also part of your role.

Many members may hesitate to invest immediately and appreciate friendly follow-ups to ensure they are progressing towards their fitness goals.

Occasionally, you may be asked to assist in other areas of the club during a canceled or no-show appointment.

Wellness Engagement Specialists are encouraged to utilize their creativity during these times to generate leads and enhance earning potential.

Qualifications include post-secondary education related to the health and fitness industry, along with additional certifications or workshops in sales, marketing, and administration.
Experience in the health and fitness sector is preferred.
All team members must undergo a criminal background check prior to commencing training and/or work.
