About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Project Manager to join our team at FNX-INNOV. As a key member of our Caractérisation et réhabilitation environnementale team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the execution of environmental projects for industrial, government, and private clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in field and office work, ensuring the successful completion of projects.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate the execution of projects, including environmental evaluations, characterization, and rehabilitation of sites.
  • Conduct studies and evaluations, including preliminary and detailed concepts.
  • Coordinate technical personnel for field activities.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, discussing project mandates and proposing solutions to their problems.
  • Compile data and write reports.
  • Ensure liaison with stakeholders and respond to client requests.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Water Resources, with a focus on environmental studies or equivalent.
  • Master's degree or microprogram in Environmental Evaluation (an asset).
  • Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec or the Ordre des Géologues du Québec.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Autonomy and resourcefulness.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in environmental characterization and rehabilitation, as well as the Guide d'intervention and environmental sampling guides.
  • Knowledge of the MELCC's intervention guide.
  • Excellent written and spoken French (bilingual French-English is an asset).
  • Valid ASP security card for construction sites.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
