About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales and Sourcing Specialist to join our team at PFD Enorsia Canada Corp. as we continue to expand our presence in the North American market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and implement sales strategies to expand our customer base, and manage existing customer relationships to ensure their sourcing needs are met with the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
  • Negotiate with Buyers and Sourcing Managers: Negotiate with buyers and sourcing managers of our clients to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms, aligning with our manufacturing capabilities and business objectives.
  • Drive Business Growth: Leverage your sourcing experience to drive business growth, optimizing the supply chain to meet customer demands efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Ensure Quality and Service: Ensure the sourcing processes, timelines, and quality standards meet or exceed the needs of our customers, providing exceptional service and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Merchandising, and Supply Planning, to streamline operations from sourcing to final delivery, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify Market Trends: Identify new market trends and sourcing opportunities to expand our product offerings and enhance our competitive edge.
  • Risk Mitigation: Provide insights and strategies to mitigate risks and overcome challenges in the supply chain, ensuring reliable and consistent service to our customers.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a team of sourcing specialists, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • A North American undergraduate degree in a related field, such as Apparel or Textile Design, Merchandising.
  • At least 10 years of North American experience in sales and apparel sourcing, with significant experience negotiating with buyers and sourcing managers.
  • Over 10 years of proven experience in buying apparel and a thorough understanding of the fashion industry, including textiles and supply chain dynamics.
  • Proven experience in working with Suppliers in China, Bangladesh, and Vietnam.
  • Strong skills in marketing, office administration, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a successful track record of managing client relationships, particularly in securing competitive pricing and terms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel as needed.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
