Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at El Aventurero Restaurant Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.

Staff Management

Lead and manage a team of cooks, kitchen assistants, and other support staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.

Inventory Management

Oversee the ordering, storage, and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.

Quality Control

Ensure that all food prepared and served meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.

Culture and Diversity

Contribute to a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace by promoting awareness, training, and support for employees from diverse backgrounds.

Community Engagement

Participate in community programs and initiatives that support newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, and indigenous people, and promote social and labor market integration.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and completion of a culinary arts program or equivalent experience.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience as a cook or in a related role, with a proven track record of leadership and management.

Language

Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
