Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba - In Office

Pay: $80K - $100K

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Supervise accounts receivable and bank reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  3. Manage payroll and accounts payable, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  4. Process intercompany transactions and document financial processes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  5. Maintain internal controls and assist with month-end tasks, ensuring a smooth close.
  6. Communicate effectively with customers and vendors, building strong relationships and resolving issues promptly.
  7. Support administrative functions, providing exceptional support to the team.

Requirements:

  1. Proficient in QuickBooks and other financial software.
  2. Strong understanding of accruals, GST/HST, and PST, with experience in multi-company or multi-country settings.
  3. Skilled in payroll, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  4. Prefer experience with foreign exchange transactions and exposure to international markets.
  5. Hold a solid accounting background, with a mid-level or higher CPA program.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools, with excellent communication skills and a focus on clarity.
