About the Role

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join the Deputy Minister's Office as an Executive Advisor. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to analyze and comprehend complex policy issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advice to the Deputy Minister on policy and program issues
  • Manage and coordinate various projects on behalf of the Deputy Minister's Office
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders within the Ministry and the Office of the Minister of Finance
  • Provide operational consistency and ensure timely handling of issue identification, management, resolution and risk management
  • Develop and maintain a respectful and collegial relationship within the Ministry and the Office of the Minister of Finance
Requirements
  • Master's degree in business, commerce, economics, public policy, public administration, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public policy analysis or a related field
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
