Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Drivers: Oversee the daily activities of our drivers, ensuring they are meeting their performance targets and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide Technical Advice: Offer guidance and support to drivers on technical matters, including vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase productivity and enhance product quality.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Ensure that all drivers are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations, including those related to vehicle safety and maintenance.
  • Requisition and Order Materials: Source and procure materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support driver operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the trucking or transportation industry.
  • Certifications: Class 2/2F/C Licence (buses with more than passengers) and Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD).
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure.
Working Conditions

This is an on-the-road job, requiring frequent travel and overnight stays. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Security and Safety

The successful candidate must undergo a criminal record check and possess a valid driver's licence.
