Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Gorugoru Food. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food services, ensuring seamless execution of our culinary vision.
Key Responsibilities- Revenue Management: Monitor revenues to determine labour costs and make informed decisions to optimize our operations.
- Staff Performance: Monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Operations Planning: Plan and organize daily operations to meet customer demands and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Service Offerings: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Event Management: Manage events and ensure seamless execution of our culinary vision.
- Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
- Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees by facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
- Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
- Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Work Details: Permanent position, 30-35 hours per week, English language.
