Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at ReForest London. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record-Keeping
- Accurately maintain and balance various financial accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
- Administer health benefits and other employee perks.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare financial reports, including trial balances and statistical analyses.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Education
- College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
- Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a financial operations role.
- Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
