Service Desk Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Technician to join our team at Nature's Touch Frozen Foods. As a Service Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our internal clients, including receiving and resolving technical service issues, providing troubleshooting support, and identifying solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support to users via various communication channels.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners.
- Set up and configure new user accounts and workstations.
- Install, modify, and make repairs to computer hardware and software systems.
- Support end-user applications, such as Microsoft Office 365, and email.
- Provide support for remote users, including VPN and remote desktop setup and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose/resolve technical issues with software and hardware.
- Provide timely and regular updates to users on the status of their technical issues.
Requirements:
- Undergrad degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, etc.
- Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs.
- Knowledge of PC components and design, networking concepts, including PC setup, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Microsoft MCSE or MCP is a significant asset.
- Solid PC Hardware skills - competent in all aspects of PC/laptop/peripheral installation, repair, parts replacement, and configuration.
- Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
