Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Technician to join our team at Nature's Touch Frozen Foods. As a Service Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our internal clients, including receiving and resolving technical service issues, providing troubleshooting support, and identifying solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support to users via various communication channels.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners.
  • Set up and configure new user accounts and workstations.
  • Install, modify, and make repairs to computer hardware and software systems.
  • Support end-user applications, such as Microsoft Office 365, and email.
  • Provide support for remote users, including VPN and remote desktop setup and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose/resolve technical issues with software and hardware.
  • Provide timely and regular updates to users on the status of their technical issues.

Requirements:

  • Undergrad degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Knowledge of PC components and design, networking concepts, including PC setup, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  • Microsoft MCSE or MCP is a significant asset.
  • Solid PC Hardware skills - competent in all aspects of PC/laptop/peripheral installation, repair, parts replacement, and configuration.
  • Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
