Position Overview

As a Food Service Supervisor at NANDO'S CHICKENLAND RESTAURANT, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our culinary team. Your leadership will ensure that our food quality and service standards are consistently met.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules to optimize team performance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates for operational needs.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Compile and submit operational reports to management.
  • Assist in preparing food order summaries for the kitchen staff.
  • Oversee the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
Supervisory Responsibilities

You will manage staff across various operational areas, ensuring that all team members are performing to their best abilities.

Work Environment

This role is set in a fast-paced environment where you will be required to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The position involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the expectation of standing for extended periods.
