As a Team Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting the designated team in their daily operations, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Care Coordinators.
- Manage new referrals and orders for services, supplies, and equipment.
- Handle and assist in the management of confidential patient records.
- Enter, update, and maintain a substantial volume of patient data in the electronic database.
- Respond to a high volume of telephone inquiries from patients, families, and service providers, directing calls as necessary.
- Offer backup support to other roles as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in both written and verbal French is essential.
- A minimum of a Grade 12 diploma.
- At least 2 years of relevant office experience.
- Strong keyboarding and data-entry skills.
- Proficient in database software, MS Word, Excel, and other applications within a Windows environment.
- Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to work independently.
- Advanced multitasking skills with the ability to meet performance and service objectives.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and interact sensitively with patients from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including effective listening abilities.
- Compliance with a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy is required for employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- A college diploma in health or social services, or business/office administration.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office administrative procedures.
- Understanding of services provided by Home and Community Care Support Services.
