Job Overview

Join our team at Rajinder Boora/ Sukhvir Singh D/o Lidhar Farm as a Harvesting Specialist. This role is essential for the successful cultivation and harvesting of various fruits and vegetables.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal education required
  • Experience: Training will be provided
Work Environment
  • Engage in fruit and vegetable farming
  • Work in a rural setting with diverse locations
  • Adapt to various weather conditions including dusty and hot environments
Responsibilities
  • Maintain crop cleanliness
  • Harvest and cut agricultural produce
  • Sort and grade fruits and vegetables based on size, shape, and color to maximize market value
  • Pack and prepare fruits and vegetables for distribution
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops effectively
  • Conduct weeding and manage crop health
  • Handle a variety of crops including apples, cucumbers, and tomatoes
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform repetitive tasks that are physically demanding
  • Stand for extended periods and engage in bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Capable of lifting weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

  • Team-oriented with a quick learning ability
Work Conditions
  • Temporary position with flexible hours ranging from 30 to 60 hours per week
  • Accommodation provided for staff
