About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Technician, Design Specialist to join our team at PG Classic Restoration Parts L PG Classic EN. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality engineering designs and drawings, developing design sketches, and preparing construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting
    • Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks software.
    • Develop and prepare design sketches to visualize product concepts.
  • Specifications and Estimates
    • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for projects.
    • Write technical reports and specifications for products.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements.
    • Lead and instruct groups to achieve design and drafting goals.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drafting and design.
    • College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks software.
    • Strong understanding of drafting and design principles.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Organized and detail-oriented with ability to work under pressure.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
