About the Role

As a Technical Drafting Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of experienced professionals in delivering high-quality project deliverables. You will contribute to various aspects of construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to senior team members in executing assigned tasks and projects.
  • Create and maintain detailed drawings encompassing architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines.
  • Effectively update existing drawings to reflect any changes or conditions observed on-site.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to a culture of continuous enhancement.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Possess a college diploma in a relevant field such as drafting technology or architectural design.
  • Have 1-3 years of practical experience in a technical drafting role within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD 2016, Revit, and/or Microstation software.
  • Exhibit strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage tasks and collaborate with others.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Autodesk or BOMA certifications are highly desirable.
