Behaviour Consultant - Clinical Expert

Mackenzie Health is seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Consultant to join our team. As a Behaviour Consultant, you will be responsible for providing clinical assessment and treatment recommendations through a comprehensive behavioural approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and monitor skill promotion and behaviour intervention programs.
  • Develop, implement, and supervise the training of mediators in the principles of behaviour management.
  • Develop, implement, and facilitate the evaluation of ongoing education to community agencies and parents.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Psychology and related experience or equivalent.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and a vehicle for travel throughout York Region and/or Simcoe County.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current clinical experience and knowledge of behaviour therapy as it applies to developmental disabilities and positive sexuality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Proven attendance record.
  • Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
  • Effectively uses empathy in interactions with others.
  • Models behaviour consistent with Mackenzie Health's Commitment to Caring.

Language: English (fluent French language skills are an asset)
