Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Operations Coordinator to join our team at 2766329 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating transportation schedules, assigning personnel to equipment and routes, and ensuring the efficient operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Scheduling: Assign personnel to equipment and routes, and schedule work shifts to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
  • Record Keeping: Compile equipment and personnel records to produce operating reports, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Route Planning: Plan the most efficient route schedules according to factors such as peak travel periods, holidays, special events, and construction.
  • Personnel Management: Review personnel availability and other pertinent information to establish schedule parameters, and ensure that personnel are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process files and paperwork, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: Experience in a transportation or logistics environment is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and a team player.
