About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Paul's Freightline. As a key member of our logistics operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports to management and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, arranging for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support logistics operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Train workers in duties and policies, and co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient operations.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, establishing work schedules and procedures as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Skills
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in dispatch management service software, electronic schedulers, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
