Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Ottawa Dental Laboratory Inc.. This role is essential in the production and preparation of dental prosthetics and appliances.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a relevant trades certificate or diploma.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare plaster models and molds for dental applications.
  • Cast metal alloys or gold for bridges and denture bases.
  • Shape wax over denture setups to ensure accuracy.
  • Finish the metal framework for dentures to meet specifications.
  • Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays for dental procedures.
  • Pack plastic materials into molds to create full or partial dentures.
  • Fabricate orthodontic bands using various metals and alloys.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Working Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
