About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SEL Food Services Enterprise Inc. as a key member of our kitchen operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining a positive reputation for the company.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
