Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Edo Japan Tsawwassen. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Prepare Budget and Reports: Prepare budget and cost estimates, as well as maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
Work Environment:

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to work under pressure. You will be standing for extended periods and working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
