About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SEL Food Services Enterprise Inc. as a Team Lead. This is a key leadership position that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and guide a team of food service staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily operations of the food service team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide guidance and training to staff members on job duties, sanitation procedures, and quality control standards.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and waste is minimized.
  • Ensure Quality and Service Standards: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality and customer service, addressing any complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management as required.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the food service team, ensuring that adequate staffing levels are maintained at all times.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
