Grant Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grant Specialist to join our team at Go REcruitment. As a Grant Specialist, you will play a critical role in researching and securing funding opportunities for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough research on Canadian, US, and European government funding programs available for for-profit organizations.
- Liaise with external funding organizations to identify opportunities for funding and confirm financial and reporting requirements.
- Analyze and interpret grant/fund requirements, developing a clear and focused strategy and business case.
- Drive the internal teams' development and completion of grant applications, ensuring timely submission and compliance.
- Write strategic, concise, and accurate content for grant/fund responses.
- Own the proposal production process, including gaining internal approvals, finalizing deliverables, and ensuring quality control.
- Continuously drive the relationship with funding organizations and ensure timely reporting.
- Degree in Business, Agriculture, or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in researching grant opportunities, developing proposals, and writing successful grant applications.
- Understanding of accounting and finance practices, including interpreting income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Experience in writing business cases and developing strategic plans.
- Strong decision-making skills, ability to work with limited information, and excellent business writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
