Job Title: SharePoint Business and Support Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Business and Support Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the SharePoint Online environment and will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the SharePoint strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and participate in SharePoint Online projects and solutions
  • Configure and optimize SharePoint Online features, including form libraries, lists, workflows, team sites, content management sites, user permissions, enterprise search, security, and reporting services
  • Provide expert-level support and guidance on SharePoint and other content management systems
  • Conduct meetings with stakeholders to interpret requirements and identify technology solutions to enhance business processes
  • Develop and recommend solutions using advanced knowledge of out-of-the-box SharePoint features and tools
  • Improve operational efficiencies and automate business processes using Microsoft SharePoint workflow solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI)
  • Research and analyze solutions that incorporate current SharePoint Online framework features and functionality
  • Create and maintain technical design documentation, including business functions, processes, and system requirements
  • Provide technical support on all aspects of SharePoint Online, including day-to-day issues and requests
  • Contribute to Microsoft SharePoint governance, vision, strategy, policies, and best practices
  • Develop and deliver training for site owners and users, produce how-to documentation, and conduct group training sessions
  • Perform quality assurance checks, identify and resolve data and security issues, and manage change requests in a timely manner
  • Develop automated business process solutions using web forms, metrics, workflows, and dashboards
  • Collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously and engage with management, team members, and business partners to build long-term relationships
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree or equivalent, and 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft Office 365, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Experience with SharePoint security administration and fundamental site management concepts
  • Thorough knowledge of SharePoint Online features, including sites, permissions, content types, pages, lists, libraries, web parts, and out-of-the-box functionality
  • Ability to research current and emerging information technologies
  • Ability to present content to teams and facilitate end-user training sessions
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in technical and non-technical terms
  • Strong technical aptitude, initiative, creativity, teamwork, and excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with Information Management and Enterprise Content Management systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex issues
  • Solid understanding of requirements gathering and analysis techniques
