Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Beacon Drive In Restaurant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food preparation and service staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Direct and manage the activities of our food preparation and service staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in food preparation, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service to meet customer expectations.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive and productive work environment by leading by example, providing guidance and support to staff members, and promoting open communication.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or related industry.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
