About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Turmeric Restaurant Victoria Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
