About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Little Thai Restaurant Inc. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.

Manage Food and Service Quality

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.

Lead and Motivate the Team

Establish methods to meet work schedules, and lead and motivate the team to achieve their goals and objectives.

Manage Budgets and Finances

Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.

Communicate with Customers

Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment, working under pressure, and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Personal Qualities

Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude are required for this position.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
