Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

Green Prairie is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance, ensuring our properties are well-manicured and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including lawn care, pruning, and planting.
  • Organize and direct construction of decks, decorative walls, and other outdoor features.
  • Manage and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and working under pressure.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Working Conditions:
  • Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Use heavy equipment and machinery, including chain saws, pick-up trucks, and small engine equipment.
