Produce Department Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Produce Department Supervisor to join our team at Freshco. As a key member of our produce team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our produce department.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient sales processes
- Assign sales workers to duties, including receiving, stocking, and displaying produce
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stockroom operations to minimize waste and optimize sales
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods
