TOTEM recruteur de talent is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Insurance - Prevention and Risk Management for a well-established organization in Montreal.
In this strategic role, you will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive risk management strategies across various insurance domains. Your expertise will be instrumental in mitigating potential losses and ensuring the financial stability of the organization.
Responsibilities:- Lead the prevention and management of insurable risks by conducting thorough claims analysis, collaborating with a risk management committee, and proposing effective solutions to prevent future losses.
- Implement proactive measures to minimize the extent of direct and indirect damages when risks materialize.
- Oversee all operations and resources related to insurance protections, encompassing property damage, special risks, resource liability, professional liability, and providing expert guidance to insured parties.
- Possess a law degree (preferred).
- Demonstrate extensive experience in enterprise risk management, insurance principles, team leadership, property insurance, and liability insurance.
- Exhibit strong functional English communication skills.
- Hold a PAA or FPAA certification (preferred).
