Job Summary

As a Bilingual Fraud Claims Analyst at Tangerine, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our credit card transactions. Your primary responsibility will be to investigate and resolve fraudulent claims, while providing exceptional customer service and minimizing losses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data to determine the best course of action for resolving fraud claims
  • Adjudicate liability for fraud/disputes on Tangerine Credit Card
  • Prepare or direct the preparation of chargeback authorizations, Pre-arbitration documents, and arbitration proceedings under the MasterCard regulations
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer transactions consistent with Tangerine's standards
  • Handle indemnity requests through proper channels to ensure quick resolution with minimal impact to the customer
  • Monitor and manage the Tangerine Fraud Claims inbox to track incoming customer inquiries, merchant doc requests, and claim follow-ups
Requirements
  • Fluency in both English and French (reading, writing, and spoken)
  • Experience working with Mastercard products
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and TSYS
  • Availability to work from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM EST (including occasional statutory holidays/weekends)
  • Previous Fraud/Dispute experience
  • Post-secondary education in business or other related disciplines (asset)
  • Customer Service experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong analytical skills, attention-to-detail, and ability to make effective decisions
  • Proven interpersonal, communication, and problem resolution skills
