Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Field Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our food safety and quality management systems. This position is responsible for ensuring that all products meet or exceed established quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Safety Oversight: Manage the implementation and adherence to GFSI standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- System Development: Create, execute, and uphold internal policies, procedures, and documentation to support the business management system.
- Quality Tracking: Maintain accurate quality tracking and reporting, facilitating discussions during monthly HACCP meetings and annual management reviews.
- Vendor Relations: Collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective actions that uphold product quality and manage customer complaints effectively.
- Pest Management: Oversee pest management initiatives and schedule necessary inspections and testing.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have approximately 2-5 years of experience in food safety management. A thorough understanding of HACCP principles and quality management systems is essential.
