The selected candidate will report to the Senior Vice President of Finance and will be primarily tasked with overseeing business valuation services provided by external valuation firms, as well as preparing internal valuation reports and managing various projects.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing services rendered by external business valuators, including facilitating communication between valuators and company management, managing data, and reviewing both draft and final reports.
- Assisting in the preparation of internal valuation reports.
- Collaborating closely with various business units to gather and organize necessary company data.
- Identifying, quantifying, and effectively communicating risks associated with valuation processes.
- Contributing to special projects and conducting ad-hoc analyses as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or accounting.
- A keen interest in pursuing the Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation or currently working towards it.
- CPA designation is not mandatory but would be advantageous.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in finance or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
- The ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
