Position Summary:

The Rentals Manager is responsible for the effective management of daily operations within the Rentals Department. This role includes providing leadership to the Housekeeping and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) teams, ensuring operational targets are met while delivering exceptional customer service. The Rentals Manager will compile regular performance reports for upper management and serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries and concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the local rental fleet and manage rental inventory.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service.
  • Address and resolve customer feedback and complaints.
  • Supervise rental department activities, including front-office operations and vehicle preparation.
  • Lead the Housekeeping and PDI teams to maintain high standards.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to management regarding departmental performance.
  • Plan and allocate tasks to rental staff effectively.
  • Coordinate client transfers and transportation services.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support budget preparation and financial tracking for the Rentals Department.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide staff support and guidance.
  • Adapt to flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in hospitality management, business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality operations and management.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in additional languages, such as Dutch or German, is advantageous.
  • Experience in financial planning and budgeting.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven customer service abilities, including conflict resolution.
