Key Responsibilities:

The Rentals Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring that all departmental goals are met while maintaining high standards of customer service. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the local rental fleet and associated supplies.
  • Developing and implementing processes to enhance customer service.
  • Addressing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Supervising rental introductions and various departmental tasks.
  • Overseeing the Housekeeping and Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) teams.
  • Compiling regular reports for management to assess operational performance.
  • Planning and directing the activities of rental staff.
  • Monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conducting performance reviews and providing guidance to team members.
  • Contributing to the strategic vision of the Rentals Department.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in hospitality management, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality operations and management.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Financial planning and budgeting experience.
  • Customer service expertise, including conflict resolution.

Work Environment:

  • Interaction with employees, management, and customers.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
