Key Responsibilities- Sanitation Duties: Thoroughly clean and sanitize equipment and areas including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
- Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers effectively to ensure all dishes, glassware, and flatware are properly cleaned.
- Storage Management: Organize and place dishes in designated storage areas.
- Manual Washing: Hand wash and sanitize dishes and other kitchen items as needed.
- Inventory Tracking: Maintain accurate records of food quantities utilized.
- Take-Out Preparation: Package food for take-out services efficiently.
- Food Portioning: Portion and wrap food items for service.
- Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items for customer service.
- Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a friendly demeanor.
- Stock Management: Ensure refrigerators and salad bars are well-stocked.
- Order Taking: Accurately take and process customer orders.
- Food Processing: Utilize manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
- Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.
