About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commis 2 to join our culinary team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler. As a Commis 2, you will be responsible for preparing and executing menu items, setting up food stations, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and execution of menu items, including In Room Dining
  • Setting up food stations and obtaining necessary equipment and materials
  • Preparing food stations for service, including organizing and managing banquets and buffets
  • Cleaning and inspecting kitchens and food service areas
  • Preparing and plating dishes in a timely and accurate manner
  • Specializing in Pastry cooking
  • Preparing dishes for guests with allergies or food intolerances
  • Communicating with cooks regarding timing
  • Maintaining records and ordering food, supplies, and kitchen equipment

Requirements:

  • Culinary education or several years of commercial cooking experience
  • 2+ years of culinary experience
  • Passion for food and excellent knife skills
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Excellent commitment to service and teamwork
  • Ability to obtain a clean criminal record check
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
