Our client is a renowned ICI construction management firm, specialising in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including industrial, retail, and office.

Job Description

As the Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all onsite construction activities for ICI projects, ensuring that subcontractors and tradespeople meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage onsite construction activities, ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to adhere to project specifications and schedules.
  • Monitor project progress, address issues or delays promptly, and implement corrective measures to keep projects on track.
  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all site personnel.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure all work meets company standards and project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of project expenses, material usage, and labour to support budgeting and reporting.
  • Facilitate clear communication among team members, clients, and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure project alignment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ICI Superintendent, with a proven track record managing ICI projects and experience in new build hotel projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with LEED certification and sustainable building practices is preferred.
  • Gold Seal certification or equivalent credentials are highly desirable.
  • Proficient with construction management software and tools.
  • Capable of working under pressure and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
