Site Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join our team at Michael Page International Canada Limited. As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising and managing all on-site construction activities for ICI projects, ensuring that subcontractors and tradespeople meet project objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to adhere to ICI project specifications and schedules.
- Site Supervision: Monitor project progress, address issues or delays promptly, and implement corrective measures to keep projects on track.
- Safety Protocols: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all site personnel.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure all work meets company standards and project requirements.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of project expenses, material usage, and labour to support budgeting and reporting.
- Communication: Facilitate clear communication among team members, clients, and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure project alignment.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ICI Superintendent, with a proven track record managing ICI projects and experience in new build hotel projects.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Project Delivery: Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Certifications: Familiarity with LEED certification and sustainable building practices is preferred. Gold Seal certification or equivalent credentials are highly desirable.
- Software: Proficient with construction management software and tools.
- Adaptability: Capable of working under pressure and adapting to changing priorities.
- Travel: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
