We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our team at Argyle Secondary School. As a Counsellor, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students, addressing a range of issues including academic stress, relationships, and mental health.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement, motivation, and academic success.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in counselling and education, and incorporate new ideas and approaches into your work.
- Master's degree in Counselling or a related field.
- Experience working with students in a secondary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
As a Counsellor with School District #44 (North Vancouver), you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team of educators, and to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
