Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Governance, Strategy, and Service Management professional to join our team at Moerae Solutions Incorporated. As an IT Governance and Service Management Advisor, you will play a key role in providing expert guidance and hands-on support in three critical areas: IT Cloud Strategy, IT Governance Framework development, and the implementation of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement IT Governance Frameworks
    • Design and implement IT governance frameworks that align with institutional goals and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop governance documentation and ensure its effective implementation.
  • Cloud Strategy and Implementation
    • Develop and execute IT cloud strategies, including cloud migration, hybrid cloud management, and multi-cloud integration.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with the college's overall objectives.
  • IT Service Management Process Development
    • Develop and implement ITSM processes, including service request management, service catalog management, and service level management.
    • Provide expert advice and guidance to the project team responsible for configuring and implementing ITSM processes within Salesforce.
  • Inventory Management and Analysis
    • Create a comprehensive inventory of all applications used across the organization.
    • Perform an in-depth analysis of key applications, evaluating their alignment with strategic objectives, operational efficiency, and overall value to the organization.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate closely with business partners and enterprise architects to identify opportunities for rationalization, optimization, and potential retirements.
    • Establish Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) for internal IT services to clearly define and uphold expectations and performance standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • A 4-year degree or a master's in computer science, management information systems, computer engineering, or a related field within information technology.
    • Certifications in IT governance (e.g., COBIT, TOGAF), cloud computing, and ITIL are highly preferred.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT governance, cloud strategy, and service management within small to medium-sized organizations, preferably in higher education.
    • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing IT governance frameworks that align with institutional goals and regulatory requirements.
    • Experience in developing and executing IT cloud strategies, including cloud migration, hybrid cloud management, and multi-cloud integration.
    • Proven experience in implementing ITSM processes, including service catalog management, service request fulfillment, service level management, application portfolio management, and hardware asset management, with a strong understanding of ITIL best practices.
Technical Knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of IT governance models, cloud architecture, ITSM frameworks, and best practices in IT operations and service management.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data privacy, data governance, and risk management practices.
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and service management tools like Remedy, ServiceNow, or Salesforce.
