We are seeking a dependable individual who can adapt to different locations as needed. A foundational understanding of inventory management and medical supplies would be beneficial. This role demands effort, but together we can ensure that individuals receive the care they require when they are unable to do so themselves.

Role Overview:

As a Supply Chain Associate I, your responsibilities will encompass a range of activities related to the selection, packaging, dispatch, and receipt of orders for medical supplies, equipment, and food, adhering to the standards set by Alberta Health Services. You will handle incoming requests, distribute materials, conduct quality assurance audits, and maintain regular communication with stakeholders to guarantee the availability of the correct quantities of supplies. Additionally, you will monitor and report on inventory levels to prevent overstock situations.

Essential Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent is required. Candidates must be physically capable of maneuvering heavy wheeled carts, potentially exceeding 275 kg. The role requires the ability to stand or walk for extended periods and to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 kg.

Additional Qualifications:

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. Effective communication skills with staff, vendors, and the public are necessary. Proficiency in using computers with the Windows operating system and Microsoft applications is required. Flexibility to work varying shifts with short notice is expected. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are crucial.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in WHMIS and TDG is advantageous. Experience in logistics, warehousing, and material handling is preferred. The ability to occasionally operate a manual pallet jack for moving heavy pallets is also beneficial.
