Area Manager

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our team at VeronaSuits. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals and overseeing the daily operations of our retail locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, and plan and organize daily operations.
- Staff Management: Manage staff and assign duties, recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, and oversee payroll administration.
- Marketing and Sales: Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the effect of competitors' operations on sales. Determine merchandise and services to be sold, implement price and credits policies, and locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
- Financial Management: Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, and determine staffing requirements.
- Customer Service: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Point of sale system, accounting software, database software, project management software, inventory control software, electronic mail, spreadsheet, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and MS Outlook.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel regularly.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
