Construction Project Manager

As a key member of the Canadian industrial supplies and services inc team, the Construction Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.

  1. Coordinate subcontractors' activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
  2. Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  3. Plan and organize daily operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  4. Select trade subcontractors based on their expertise and capabilities.
  5. Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates to ensure accurate financial planning.
  6. Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to maintain a high-performing team.
  7. Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors to ensure they meet project requirements.
  8. Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones to track progress.
  9. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
  10. Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control to ensure high-quality results.
  11. Operate CADD and other computer software systems to create detailed project plans.
  12. Read blueprint, schemas, and drawings to understand project requirements.
  13. Plan and manage budgets to ensure accurate financial planning.
  14. Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions to ensure timely completion of projects.
  15. Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure high-quality results.
  16. Develop risk management plans to minimize potential risks and ensure project success.
  17. Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform project decisions.
  18. Prepare reports to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.

Supervision: The Construction Project Manager will supervise a team of 16-20 people.

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
