Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Coordinator to oversee and manage various construction projects. This role involves ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively.

Employment Details

Educational Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.

Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities of subcontractors to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Plan and organize daily operations to maintain workflow.
  • Select and hire trade subcontractors based on project needs.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates for construction projects.
  • Supervise subcontractors and their activities on-site.
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules and milestones, monitoring progress regularly.
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate any necessary revisions or changes.
  • Interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings accurately.
  • Manage project budgets effectively.
  • Direct the procurement of building materials and land.
  • Implement quality control programs to ensure standards are met.
  • Develop comprehensive risk management plans.
  • Oversee data analysis and reporting related to project progress.
  • Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
