Job Summary

The Construction Manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. This includes planning, organizing, and directing daily operations, as well as ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of construction professionals, including subcontractors and staff.
  • Quality Control: Establish and implement quality control procedures to ensure projects meet the required standards.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems that may arise during construction projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in construction management or a related field.
  • Certifications: Working at Heights Training, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate, Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, CADD Course, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CADD software.
