We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Insights Analyst to join our team at Scotiabank, a leading bank in the Americas. As a key member of our Global Compliance team, you will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop High-Impact Presentations: Create compelling presentations for senior-level executive audiences to drive decisive action on strategic recommendations and ensure strict adherence to established policies and processes.
  • Support Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with the Global Compliance & AML leadership team and other cross-functional teams to orchestrate strategic initiatives and ensure meticulous execution.
  • Lead Team Events: Organize and lead large-scale team events to strengthen team cohesion and uphold company culture.
  • Foster Strategic Partnerships: Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with external entities in alignment with the department's strategic vision.
  • Enhance Process Efficiency: Continuously seek methods to enhance process efficiency through automation and standardization.

Requirements
  • Education: University degree in Business or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in strategic roles in banking/financial services.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint. A keen eye for presentation design and the ability to distill complex concepts and analyses into clear, easy-to-understand presentations.
  • Personal Qualities: Thrives in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic business environment. Able to manage multiple activities to aggressive deadlines. Experienced in developing reports and communications for an executive audience. Fluency in Spanish is an asset.
