Position Overview:

As a Senior IT Security Consultant, you play a crucial role in safeguarding IT infrastructure, software applications, and sensitive data from unauthorized alterations, destruction, or disclosure. Your expertise extends to enhancing authentication processes and access management through the design and administration of robust security frameworks. You assess vulnerabilities within IT systems and implement comprehensive protective strategies to ensure data integrity and system resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee specialized development initiatives and projects that have a significant influence on the organization.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients and partners, assisting them in positioning, planning, executing, and monitoring key projects and initiatives.
  • Formulate and revise policies, standards, models, and programs that align with your unit's strategic objectives.
  • Identify and analyze critical issues, offering solutions and recommendations to decision-making authorities.
  • Act as a representative for your unit in front of senior management committees and decision-making bodies.
  • Negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and establish agreements with external partners and organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of eight years of pertinent experience.
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency in French is required.
