We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Security Advisor to join our team at Desjardins Group. As a key member of our IT security team, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization's IT assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
Key Responsibilities- IT Security Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive IT security strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Security Architecture and Design: Design and implement secure IT systems, networks, and applications to protect against cyber threats.
- Incident Response and Management: Lead incident response efforts to minimize the impact of security breaches and ensure timely resolution.
- Security Awareness and Training: Develop and deliver security awareness training programs to educate employees on IT security best practices.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, risk management, and compliance, to ensure effective communication and coordination on security-related matters.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on security architecture, incident response, and security awareness.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of IT security frameworks, regulations, and standards; experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems; and proficiency in security-related tools and technologies.
